Living Life with Diabetes

So, we really have 7 members of our family, with diabetes being the seventh member. This family member wasn't invited, it was given to us. What we do with it is our choice, then. When I remind my son to give himself an insulin bolus with his pump I remind him, "I would like for you to live to be a healthy old man,stiiting on your porch with your grandkids." I will do everything in my power to help him to be healthy. Sometimes I fell like diabetes makes us all a little crazy. I think sometimes when he forgets his bolus he wishes he didn't have it. Hmmm...really! So everyday we will fight the fight to keep him healthy!
